The Land
Sardinia’s land has the precious virtue of transforming
adversities into flavourful opportunities: in particular, the scarcity
of rainfall makes the water tables more salty, thus causing a contraction
in production. But at the same time this improves the quality of
products and emphasizes their full flavour. Sardinia’s land, wind and sun, and also the fact that it is an
island, make it possible to exploit the sea’s beneficial action
on the climate, and this makes the difference. The working of the soil,
natural sunlight and pollination give the fruit superior characteristics
of genuineness, which also makes its taste full and harmonious, with
a more intense and natural fragrance.
